As a designer with over 15 years of experience I have come to realize that there is no prescription for design. One design does not fit all. In redesigning my own home and helping others to renovate theirs, one thing remains the same - we are all unique, we all have different needs and tastes. It's those key factors that help make our houses feel like home.
The use of natural light and carefully considering the composition in a space lends to moments in a home to make them balanced. It's my pleasure to work together with clients to create spaces that reflect their personality and needs. I’m conveniently located in the Northern Westchester area. ABOUT JULES CHAKMAKIAN
Jules Chakmakian is an interior designer based in Westchester, NY that specializes in the residential design of personal and livable interiors. Jules holds a Master of Arts in Interior Design from the New England School of Art and Design at Suffolk University.
Prior to her work in residential design, Jules has spent over 12 years in commercial interior design at architectural firms in Boston and New York designing spaces for corporate interiors, higher education and healthcare clients. Additionally, her past role as a senior designer in the Design and Delivery group for The Walt Disney Company enables her to provide excellent service and seamlessly manage projects for her clients. As a referral-based business, Jules enjoys working with families and finding ways to design spaces that are functional and beautiful.
When not designing, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. One of their favorite places to visit throughout the year is Cape May, NY.
Jules is a National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) certified interior designer and holds an interior design license.

PLANNING
A great project begins with a great partnership. Getting to know you and the way you live is the first step in the in creating a design that is unique to you.
DESIGN
3D visualization of your space, floor plans, budgeting in addition to furniture, finish and equipment schedules are offered to provide clarity and ease in the decision making process.
DELIVERY
Careful execution of your design and coordination with contractors, vendors and manufacturers is essential. Seeing the project through from the very first phase to the final detail ensures your home is completed with care.
